If you are subscribed to Amazon Prime and eagerly awaiting the upcoming Season 2 of Fallout, there's an excellent chance just for you: The company is providing a new selection of complimentary titles, including Fallout: New Vegas Ultimate Edition.
Although it may not be absolutely necessary to grasping the plot of the upcoming dystopian show, gamers might also want to snag the other Fallout game included in this month's Prime Gaming offerings: the just-as-good and equally chaotic Fallout 3: Game of the Year Edition. What's more, Amazon Prime members get to keep their digital titles forever with the service, so you can jump in and play at any time.
Upcoming Episodes Details
The newest Fallout season, starring Ella Purnell as Lucy MacLean and Walton Goggins as the enigmatic bounty hunter known solely as The Ghoul, debuts on our silver screens on December 17, with season 3 confirmed to follow. That leaves plenty of time to jump into Fallout: New Vegas.
The game lets you explore all the iconic locations and encounter unique personalities that have been unveiled in promotional materials for Season 2 and first-look images.
One of the first images shown of the upcoming season depicts Walton Goggins' character, pre-Wasteland, visiting the iconic Lucky 38. Not only is this a real location you can visit in Fallout: New Vegas — where you can barter and gamble, if you're feeling lucky — but it's the base of one of the most vital characters in the game: Mr. House.
The Character's Importance
Mr. House was glimpsed in the first season, but he also plays a significant role in the video game as the proprietor of the New Vegas strip. Considering that Lucy, Maximus, and the Ghoul are heading to New Vegas in Season 2, it's all but guaranteed that Mr. House will be involved.
